We'll Be Coming Through Denver, After All!

Annie gets into furious cleaning modes, pretty often. Unfortunately, for her, we’re both very clean people so our domicile doesn’t present many good opportunities for her to turn filth into cleanliness.
As such, today she decided to clean the oven, which actually seemed like a pretty good idea to me.
But then she got into “Annie is over the top again, as usual” mode...

I melted a small piece of chicken fat and then browned onions, shallots, garlic, green onions and boneless, skinless chicken breasts.

My Favorite (Simple) Crock Pot Beef Roast Recipe
Before I go to bed I place a cheap, tough, 5 pound beef roast in the crock pot and pour in enough wine (red or white— but red is better) to almost cover the roast.
I buy boxed wine for this purpose— and Franzia Chianti is only around $12.99 for 5 liters, so you can do a lot of cooking with that.

I’ve been pondering on this, today, and I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work— so I’m trying it tomorrow.
This will be my experimental recipe:
