God, I hate that word. There is so much baggage associated with it and until recently I didn't even really apply it to myself. I've always just been "a woman." It is accurate, though, so I guess there is no avoiding it.

This is not a transsexual blog. It is the blog of a pretty run-of-the-mill woman with a quirky sense of humor. There will be some transsexual stuff weaved in, no doubt, because-- well, just because. Hopefully that will be a smallish part of it. If it's not well, then, sorry. It is what it is. I'm going to write about whatever fancies me at the moment.

I never even thought about having a blog but people keep telling me, "you need to write a blog." So-- ummm..., here it is!

I Honestly Don’t Know What The Republicans Are Thinking

I would not vote for Rick Santorum under any circumstances whatsoever.

I would actually vote for Obama over Santorum— and Obama is spending us straight into bankruptcy.

Besides being a social reactionary who would try to turn back the clock on the few advances that we’ve had toward creating true equality for ALL Americans, Santorum is just as big of a spender as Obama is.

So our choice would be between Obama, who will bankrupt us and who treats our allies like enemies and our enemies like allies— and Santorum, who would turn us all into Puritans while he bankrupts us, as well.

I had thought I might be able to hold my nose and vote for Romney— because he doesn’t believe in ANYTHING. He might not fix anything but maybe he wouldn’t make things any worse.

But it looks like no one is buying the tapioca pudding that Romney is selling— so he’s on his way out the door.

We are in SO much trouble as a country.

SO much trouble.
