Just search for “My Transsexual Summer”. I’ve just viewed several episodes and the people they chose don’t pass well and don’t have passably female voices. Their experience is a lot different from mine in that when they go someplace everyone immediately identifies them as trans. Obviously, that’s not the case for me. I admire their courage, however, and how they’ve chosen to handle living in world where people identify them as trans. That’s a much harder road— one I’d hate to have to be on.

God, I hate that word. There is so much baggage associated with it and until recently I didn't even really apply it to myself. I've always just been "a woman." It is accurate, though, so I guess there is no avoiding it.
