Political Attack Ads Are Even Worse At The Local Level…
…than they are at the national level.
I wonder if any politicians watch the ads that target them and say to themselves, “I hate myself. I had no idea I was such a horrible person.”
I think that politics turns good people into bad people and honest people into crooks— and they don’t even realize it.
They think that they’ve somehow hung onto their values and integrity when they, themselves, have succumbed to the same corrupting influence of power and money as their cohorts.
And it kills me that they pass laws and then promptly exempt themselves from them.
That’s what DICTATORS do.
The deck is definitely stacked against the average American.

God, I hate that word. There is so much baggage associated with it and until recently I didn't even really apply it to myself. I've always just been "a woman." It is accurate, though, so I guess there is no avoiding it.
