Making A Sweep Through The Southwest
Annie and I are taking a load of stuff to Georgia in my beloved minivan, “Old Blue,” in two weeks.
We will travel through Albuquerque and Dallas on our way to Georgia— since one of Annie’s daughters recently moved there.
We’ll probably leave Utah on Monday the 4th and will spend a few days in Dallas, mid-week.
If you live somewhere along that route and you’ve got the time— we’d love to see you!
We could meet for lunch, dinner— or even liquor snacks, if it’s someplace we’ll be stopping, for the night.
Give us a shout and we’ll see if we can coordinate our schedules!
Pete: You might as well get the blender warmed up, ‘cause Annie and I will be expecting margaritas when we get to Dallas!

I suggest getting a breakfast burrito and a sweet roll at Golden Pride. You also pretty much have to have something with green chile, possibly that breakfast burrito. You could also visit my family but they don’t know you so that might be weird.

You’re the only person I have ever seen use the phrase “liquor snacks”. What the heck does that mean?

God, I hate that word. There is so much baggage associated with it and until recently I didn't even really apply it to myself. I've always just been "a woman." It is accurate, though, so I guess there is no avoiding it.
