I’m Making Scrunchions Tomorrow…
…even though they’re not exactly on my diet.
I cooked Jiggs Dinner, today, using a pork picnic instead of naval or corned beef. The pork picnic had a nice, big, fatty piece of rind on it— so I saved it to make scrunchions. (Now, if I only had some cod cheeks to fry up with the scrunchions…)
My pudding bags got lost several moves ago, and I’d love to find some more so that I can once again make pease pudding and figgy duff.
Maybe I can work out some sort of a swap with a Newfie and get some savoury sent to me along with the pudding bags.

God, I hate that word. There is so much baggage associated with it and until recently I didn't even really apply it to myself. I've always just been "a woman." It is accurate, though, so I guess there is no avoiding it.
