Annie Is Freaking Me Out Tonight
She had a hair appointment, today, and her stylist flat ironed her normally very curly hair straight just for the fun of it.
Annie and her 36 year old daughter, Janie, have the same color hair and almost the exact same face— except that Janie’s hair is straight.
So it keeps freaking me out as we watch television, together— with our bodies intertwined— and I look over from time to time and see Janie.
It shocks me every single time and I don’t know if my heart is strong enough to handle any more coronaries tonight.
I asked her if she would mind putting it in a clip but she said it would “dent” it for tomorrow.
So I think I’m going to go take a Bayer aspirin just in case my heart gets pushed past its limit.

God, I hate that word. There is so much baggage associated with it and until recently I didn't even really apply it to myself. I've always just been "a woman." It is accurate, though, so I guess there is no avoiding it.
